This turn of the century Tabriz has an antique wash yielding soft blue, gray ivory and brown. These city rugs are finely woven and yield a dense, low wool pile and feels good underfoot. The sides and ends are preserved.
Why we love it: this rug is signed by the weaver, indicating it was commission by someone. The all over herati pattern on the rug is a favorite and the scale makes it so easy to design with and around. The color palette is soft and neutral, but there is still depth in this rug that makes it a true gem.
